The research about the colours is great, and the expression looks dramatic. It's really a striking painting.
I especially like the eyes and the cheek.

Such a amazing use of color ! :o
I dunno how to explain it... But these hot tints, these shaded eyes ( ), the ''long nose and black hairs'' effect, reminds me... a Medicis ! One of those florencian lords that fascinate me so much... In fact, coming from me, its one of the most beautiful compliment you can recieve, you know ? :D However, I would have preferred a more ''frankly'' black for the hair. That's just myself.

A really intriguing work, that shows a great mastery of oil painting. Congrats.

for the top right of the head down to the cheekbone is where i see the death in me,
but the use of the such colors make it breathe, in the opposite way, its great that you recognize these places and it really touches me.

the shoulder and nose as well, it's places i cant help but stare at on myself...
but you just add another concept to it.
amazing.

Wow. I adore oil paintings but this is just... wow. Very nice... I really like how you used the fine lines on the facial features... especially the lips. The colors you picked were great.

Traditional art all the way =D

Deutsch oder English? I like the way the painting portrays unknown emotion. Die Person sieht ein bisschen traurig aus, aber vielleicht ist es etwas anders? I like the technique, the clear definition. I've just started getting into painting, but my style is very limited and I have no formal instruction. Ich kann Kunst wie das viel abkernnen! Great work! Tschues!

Beautiful - arguably the best piece in your current gallery; very strong confident lines - and despite it being in very low-key tones, some really bold use of vivid colour in there too.

Most deserving DD for some time - totally impressed and utterly jealous . . .
